Farmville has released the new Chat With Neighbors feature. Simply click on who you want to chat with on your neighbor bar in the game and you can send your neighbor a message. There is also a nice little search box to help you locate someone if you have tons of neighbors.

loving it so much easier than using the regular chat feature and this way it doesnt bing when I get a message nor does it lock the game while I take a minute to let my bestest neighbors know I just posted a wonderful foal or oranges etc. Been using regular chat for a while with a couple really good neighbors and tried the new feature with them tonight and they too loved it.

If I want to chat with someone, I use the chat feature. I don’t always want everyone knowing that I’m online.
I ALREADY USE THE CHAT ON THE SIDE -
Don’t see much use in it. I got an error message for the first 4 neighbours that I tried. So I guess it just works when both are online. I don’t wanna try for a hit and miss chat session all the time.

yeah i just got a message up saying try it now so i clicked on to my neighbour for a laugh and i bet you cant guess what happened next???? it said “sorry chat isnt available yet” !!!! lmao its not like i would use it to be honest waste of time
